What is "not" Yoga?

So much misinterpretation of the word yoga has happened that speaking about what is "not" yoga is more relevant. Yoga is not an exercise form, it doesn't mean standing on your head, holding your breath or twisting and stretching your body. Yes, these are various yogic practices, but when we say "Yoga", we are referring to a certain state - a certain way of being. It means to be complete within yourself, to be in a state of absolute fulfilment.

Testimonials

“A place for Hata Yoga by Isha Foundation.
I always had this feeling that Bharat is the place where yogic practices were invented and tuned to perfection, but we don't have enough professionals to teach us these practices in a right way. But after attending Rohith sir's classes, I got rid of that feeling.
This place is all about classical Hatha yoga framed to perfection by our beloved Sri Sadhguru. This studio is full of energy and divinity.

I have experienced my life's best yoga session here. My sincere thanks to Rohith sir for teaching us Surya Kriya, other important and required asanas with perfection. Those who want to experience Hatha Yoga in its best form, this place is for you."
